While I know that it is tempting to think that you have natural talent in the game of poker – and while that might not be all fake, you still need to practice poker. Playing poker and winning at poker are two very different things and if you want to win, you need to practice. The old saying, practice makes perfect is very, very true and if you put yourself into a every situation possible in poker during practice, by the time they come about in a real game, you will know exactly how to react.
Practicing poker is not just about knowing the cards and playing games with your friends, you need to actually read up on the game itself. Reading book after book about poker is a fantastic way to ensure that you know how to keep your cool, how bluff and how to come up with your own poker strategy would be a great idea.
