The 32-year old native of Texas decided to leave AbsolutePoker.com after 10 months of playing for them. The former model just signed a contract with a more established site FullTiltPoker.com.

Full Tilt recently announced that the lady poker professional will be representing their online gaming room at major poker tournaments around the globe. She will also play for online tourneys organized by Full Tilt and they expect that this move will attract a lot of poker enthusiasts.

Before the end of May, Lacey Jones announced during an interview over the radio that she will be resigning from AbsolutePoker and later on confirmed it through her Twitter account. Everyone is anticipating big things to come for Jones especially with the sponsorship and other opportunities at Full Tilt.

FullTiltPoker is among the top poker destinations online and support professional players like Phil Ivey, Jennifer Harman, Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Patrick Antonius, and Tom Dwan.

The website pushes for the game of poker at all levels and stakes by hosting online tournaments for players with different skills. Players can also learn from the professionals by going to the Academy section of the website.

Chris Moneymaker – this guy is incredible in every aspect of the word. Not only has he been playing poker since 2000, but he is actually part of the very exclusive Team Pokerstar. This guy actually started playing poker after seeing the money Rounders and I think that is pretty freaking cool actually. He is considered a very reputable tournament player and to be honest, I don’t think that I would want to play against him.

He is by far one of the most skilled players of his time and I think that Chris is going places. He is aggressive against his opponents and that is the best way to play no matter which way you look at it! Chris was born and raised in Nashville and no wonder he is so aggressive right?

He has a wife and a daughter and honestly, he’s a family man. You never would guess it by the way he plays though! So watch out for Chris Moneymaker!

I’ve been playing the $10/$20 game semi-professionally for about two months now, and I decided to make a quick overview post for you still reading this blog:

Started with a $20,000 bankroll, which I know is small, but it’s all I had and I didn’t want to play the $5/$10 game as it’s a tough one in my local casino.

Had an excellent start, which is obviously very lucky… It’s great to start on a hot streak. I won $14k in the first 3 weeks and ended my first month with a $35,000 BR. I was pretty happy.

Had a minor downswing in the first week of month two, went down to $28,000, but then lapsed back in a HUGE night in which I won $14,000 thanks to two straight flushes, one against a full boat — and am now still over $40,000 at the moment…

Long story short, after two months I’ve doubled my bankroll and I’ve only had one real downswing. I’m pretty happy and I’ve decided to take $10,000 out of my bankroll to invest it in a mutual fund. If one day I want to pay off my mortgage loan with my poker profits, I might as well start investing it wisely.
