Most people, unless they are an aggressive player will not raise after it has been done already, however there are a select few that are going to call on your bluff.  That is what you need to be aware of – if you raise, make sure that you do it smartly and make sure that you truly can recover from it.

If you have a pair of twos … odds are, you are not going to be going home with the pot, so do not raise, however if you have a couple of aces … depending on the situation, you might be better off raising.
